my story so far
yogic birth

Age 14 my mother suggested a yoga class, 'it might help handle your anger and stress'. Overtime, it did. And more.

I nurtured curiosity attending Nickie Heape's creative classes and explored different yoga styles, locally and whilst travelling. I also read books and watched vids.
My strength developed with Stephan Trefzer's guidance. He challenged my physical practise and helped me recognise mental barriers.

My devotion to yoga grew here, playing with curiosity in a structured way.

Following Jen Mills's advice, I discovered ashtanga yoga and enjoyed the sequential nature of the practise.
The daily self-disciplined practise, of repetition and reflection enabled progress and personal growth.
Yoga teacher qualified in 2020 at a traditional school, Sivannanda yoga ashram, Kerala, India.
A deeper understanding of yoga philosophy grew here and I became more comfortable chanting around others.

I felt spiritual practise deepen and this helped inner confidence.
Reiki and ayurvedic treatments were also trained in Yoga Shala, Mysore, India.

A circular, suspended yoga mat, deepened mind-body connection in a dynamic, sensual, dance like way.

Qualified to teach Aerial Hoop 2021 with a desire to help other's feel empowered.
Acroyoga teacher qualified 2022 with Montreal Acroyoga, in Merida, Mexico.
Growing balance and trust with others in a fun, all-inclusive, acrobatic way; lead to experience a warm, supportive, community.

I began to open to other's around me and felt inspired to introduce teachings of acroyoga into other communities, such as, jiu-jitsu and rock climbing.

The importance of restorative time in solitude for self-healing was reinforced by multiple stints studying and volunteering at Vipassana meditation.

I attended gong baths and found the frequency of sound vibrations also aroused feelings, necessary for me to work, through to feel more internal peace.

Recognising there can be many personal barriers to meditation, I qualified as a gong/sound therapist 2024, with the hope to help meditation feel accessible to more people.
Now I feel ready to share my learnings and passion for inner peace, to help individuals and the community, in a creative, structured way.

The light in me honours the light in you,
Namasate.
